Step by step

PREP, GLUE & PRESS

Step 01
Prep

Wash and dry your hands, push your cuticles back with the wooden stick and buff the surface of each nail lightly — just enough to take the shine off. Wipe with the alcohol pad last so nothing oily is left behind.

Tip: no filing down, no drilling. Prep is about a clean, dry, matte surface — nothing more.

Step 02
Size

Lay the right nail on each finger before you touch the glue. The correct size sits just inside your side walls without pressing into them. Set all ten out in front of you in order.

Tip: between two sizes, go up. A slightly larger nail can be filed at the sides; a small one will lift.

Step 03
Glue

A thin layer on your natural nail and a thin layer inside the press-on. Cover the whole nail bed, especially the edges — that's where lifting starts. Work one nail at a time.

Tip: too much glue squeezes out and dries cloudy. Two thin coats beat one thick one.

Step 04
Press

Start at the cuticle line, angle down and press firmly for a full 30 seconds. Hold longer than feels necessary — the pressure is what makes the bond, not the amount of glue.

Tip: count it out. Ten quick nails is the single most common reason a set lifts early.

Step 05
Finish

File the free edge to the length you want and soften the corners. Then leave them alone for an hour.

Tip: avoid water for at least 1 hour after application to let the glue fully set for long-lasting wear.

    The long wear. Survives showers, swimming, washing up and typing all day. Use this when you want to forget you're wearing them.

Removal & reuse
Off in ten minutes, no damage.

Soak your hands in warm soapy water for 10–15 minutes, then work the cuticle stick gently under the edge until the nail releases on its own. Never pull or prise — the glue lets go before your natural nail does.

Peel or file the old glue off the back, wipe with alcohol and put them back in the palette. Most customers get three or four wears out of a set.

Tip: a drop of cuticle oil around the nail bed after removal, every time.
